Republican state govts were ruling something like 35 plus of the states at the time, so they believed the 1 vote per state for congress would be picking Trump over Biden 35 to 15.....that was just one of the schemes for Trump's attempts on election subversion, getting we the people's, and electoral college, vote for Biden, over turned....

That chaos on 1/6 was suppose to expedite that scheme....
