LMAO! I AM a musician and while I don't have the phony blue color charisma that draws so many people to Bruce Springsteen, I can assure you I am superior to him musically. He does NOT impress me at all. I have played in a number of bands, one of which opened for the J.Geils band in the early 2000's which was as close as I got to the "big time", unless you count the couple of times that I got the jam with Bill Perry who was a true blues master with a number of albums out. I would rather hear the guys I used to play with ANY DAY OF THE ******* WEEK, and much of my own work too, over that ******* phone piece of rotten smegma from NJ.

Agreed. I like a FEW of his songs....(and I mean a FEW)...and I say that only from a songwriting perspective. There are many artists like that for me. I still think Springsteen sounds bad. Some of his songs would definitely sound much better done by other musicians, IMO. I also think that 90% or more of what made Springsteen "good" was simply his band! I think if they replaced the vocalist and got better writers to contribute, they would have been even better.

Yep, I'm a songwriter and musician and have admired Springsteens' earlier works. But the political hate that he spews now taints his music and his legacy imo.
