The Chargers were hyped as being one of the most dangerous teams in the AFC. But last night proved that all of that talk was just BS.
The Chargers are exactly what I said they were. They are a well coached team with holes in their offense and defense.
Baltimore showed us that the Chargers players can't tackle. Derrick Henry ran all over them. Lamar Jackson barely had to throw the ball, because if they needed a first down on a 4th down on their own 16 yd line, they could get it because the Chargers can't tackle big TEs or RBs. Most teams take out your legs when they tackle so you can't get any YAC yards. I don't know what it is, but the chargers can't tackle big guys in the secondary.
The Chargers have been penalized so often when they make a great play that they've gotten snakebit. I cannot count how many times the zebras threw a flag after the Bolts made a game changing play, halting any chance of winning. Most people call it "Chargering".
However, I could see the flaws in their offense and defense. They need playmakers on the offense, and they need playmakers on defense that stop drives by the other team.

The Culture of “Chargering”
