A fun Saturday 'morning' comic book fanfiction toast to the late 1990s invented Spider-Girl (Mayday Parker). Enjoy!

Mayday Parker was considering why her 'uncanny' spider-senses were 'mutating' her into a 'superwoman' with powers of telekinesis, web-crawling, and bio-magnetism magic! She was concerned her parents' experiences (Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson) would draw her into the dark/dangerous world of superhuman fighting. Meanwhile, Normie Osborn, grandson of Norman (CEO of Oscorp and eventually mutated evildoer known as 'Green Goblin') was himself thinking of ways of carrying-on the criminal/terrorist legacy of his grandfather. Mayday knew Normie and tried to persuade him to refrain from ditching into the darker world of crime/terrorism, but she'd soon learn that her own developing spidey-powers (inherited!) would require her to deal with Normie's new 'scheme' to become a jet-glider soaring bomb-throwing menace in New York known as the New Goblin ('NG'). Mayday fashioned herself a spider-vigilante costume/suit and mask and took the city rooftops as the 'superwoman' who'd challenge and defy the NG (New Goblin --- Normie Osborn).

MAYDAY (Spider-Girl): The city of New York is for traffic and controls, evil man.
NG (New Goblin): You know nothing of my 'vision' nor of the true scope of terror!

Spider-Girl had become the city's answer to lethal venom in this new-gen of terrorism and fighting. She considered all the signs now that made her worry that she'd have to don the mantle of such complexity since her parents (Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson) were of the same thread(s). Now, all those intuitive notions were considered verifiable, and Spider-Girl (Mayday Parker) was considered the only American 'hope' in this new seemingly endless fight with the NG (New Goblin). Perhaps all these mutations/machinery would 'highlight' why the modern New York was a place of simultaneously thrilling courage and deadly schemes requiring the most sublime or metaphysical forms of vigilance. However, would Peter/Mary consider their darling daughter (Mayday) up to such a deep challenge? Maybe Mayday would consider a life of normal living and schoolwork rather than soaring into the world of superhuman fighting!

SPIDER-GIRL: Your vision is one of vanity and submission, Goblin of hell!
NG: You soar like a sweetie, but you'll fall to your doom...like a wench.

And so, my friends, you can plainly see that all this New York intrigue in this post-9/11 era concerning the spectacular Spider-Girl and her venomous adversary/ex-friend Normie Osborn (NG) will illuminate a new 'tribulation' in the American landscape, one of inherited mission(s), enduring complexity, strange bedfellows, dark magic, super powers, and seemingly endless fighting. Fortunately, Spider-Girl has a new 'plan' to use a nifty bio-magnetism manipulation trick to draw in water cyclones up in the air amidst smog (from New York lakes/rivers) to drench/ditch the jet-glider soaring bomb-throwing new American 'menace' NG (New Goblin). Let the games go on...if with a modicum of distancing.
