In the Spirit of Michael Moore sans Michael Moore, the Conference includes such figures as Jill Stansbury on anti-hepatitis compounds, though as usual, the issue of delivery to the target site will take second seat to glamourizing the plant chemistry. Stansbury will likely not mention many anti-hep compounds. Caveat emptor.

An example is the anti-hepatitis B virus active constituent from Prunella vulgaris, also active against HIV-1. As Michael Moore and James Duke have said, this active constituent prunnelin, a sulfated polysaccharide, may be cleaved in the stomach, making it worthless against the viruses.
