The only problem I see here is bashing the guy's skull in renders him unconscious too quickly and dead. Dead men feel no pain. Better I think to just gash him in the groin with your bayonet first, that'll take that loving feeling away real fast having any designs on your wife and its not a fatal injury.

Then while he's on the ground screaming in pain holding part of his dick, stick the blade behind the kneecaps too. That really hurts, and now the guy can't fuck with nor even run away, can't move, and will be conscious through it all. Rather than dead, he'll be begging for death.
