South Carolina Senate passes bill that would ban most abortions

Good for South Carolina....

The 30-13 vote is likely the final hurdle for the bill. It has passed the House easily in previous years and Gov. Henry McMaster has repeatedly said he will sign it as soon as he can.

The Senate labelled the bill No. 1 and made it the first major issue they took up in the 2021 session.

Oh dear, more insurrectionists calls for more Executive Orders.

I personally prefer the term deplorable, but that's just me.

A Supreme Court challenge is likely.

But, perhaps, that's the point.

For the love of God!

Don't make Roberts make a fool of himself again by bowing to the Progressive powers of darkness again.

It is humiliating after all.

I don't mind being called an insurrectionist.

The trouble is ... I'm not sure what a surrection is?

Surrection: The act of surrecting.

I wonder if viagra is helpful for surrection.

Yeah women will just go to Georgia or North Carolina to have there abortions

Sorry that South Carolina may pass that law.

But, as other posters have said, hopefully the Supreme Court will strike it down.

If a woman wants an abortion, let her have one, for goodness' sake.

Too bad she & her partner did not use something to stop the pregnancy in the first place. (I guess that they had never heard of that great lady, Ms. Margaret Sanger.)

But she should not be forced to have a baby she doesn't want.

A lot of the robbers, sucker punchers, looters, rapists, & murderers walking our streets today were probably unwanted.

I am sorry to hear this.. South Carolina can't really afford to march backwards. They have a lot of poverty and less than stellar public education.

Surrection is a rising... Its the root word of insurrection and resurrection.

I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with Chuch Schumer's sex drive

Those deep blue states have lots of poverty and a high bill paid by taxpayers and blackmailing private businesses to pay for it.

I love the South Carolina lowcountry and lived there 25 years.. but SC has a high rate of Diabetic blindness and amputation.. Maybe the highest in the country and social services are very poor.

IMO its a good idea to invest in your people so you don't end up like Franco's Spain. Even Saudi Arabia invests in healthcare, education and clean water.
