It looks like V.C Summer in South Carolina will complete the construction of two AP 1000 nuclear power plants. Good news for the people of South Carolina. Nuclear power attracts industry, jobs, wealth for local people.

South Carolina has 7 nuclear power plants today, which explains why so many German companies have built factories in South Carolina. BMW and Volkswagen as well as others.

The Mercedes-Benz Charleston Plant was founded as DaimlerChrysler Manufacturing International in April 2006 and renamed to Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC in January 2016.

In Charleston around 1,700 employees manufacture the Sprinter and since 2024 also the eSprinter for the North American market. In 2021, the plant in Charleston celebrated its 15th anniversary.

We have the same nuclear plants here. The same as fukishima.

I like the pwr because it keeps the water/steam in a closed loop
