When I first heard "Send me on my Way" I thought Rusted Root was Talking Heads
 
Madonna has a very limited vocal range. While Gwen Stefani is certainly no virtuoso, she still has a much wider range than Madonna.
It just felt to me at the time they were giving us another Madonna like look. But younger and with a wider range. Lol

Black Crows or Counting Crows? They don’t sound similar but their names. I always have to think which is which.
