Interestingly, Utah has two methods of execution. Lethal injection and firing squad (remember Gary Gilmore?). Lethal injection is primarily used, but the state will use firing squad when they are unable to acquire the drugs for lethal injection... or when the condemned has chosen the firing squad...


In this case, perhaps they should find themselves "unable" to acquire said drugs and go with the firing squad... it has a certain... symmetry...
