As most of you know I predicted the bottom of the fall in March. As you have the right to say, that was just luck. Perhaps it was. I will not contest it.

Just the same, I feel a tremendous sense in Ill-Ease about the coming weeks in April.

I come from a family of clairvoyants. My Great great grandaunt worked with the police of Illinois and Wisconsin to help them diagnose crimes. She was famous for telling the police to go to a log on the southwest corner of a lake in Wisconsin and there they would find the body of a child who had died on a family outing.

Now, I know to the cynics that has no value, but the police used her to lead them to over half a hundred criminal cases that were closed over the years that followed.

If I have inherited that ability, something BIG is going to happen in the next few days/weeks. Whatever it is, will impact the economy tremendously. I only suggest that you invest cautiously.

I am afraid for the near future. It does not bode well for investors. Be safe in all that you do.

Okay, I will give this a try........

Here goes................okay, rubbing my crystal balls, OH yes, something coming UP now, yes I can see it clearly now, it's the monolith of knowledge, oooops it must have a leak....BRB

Okay I m feeling something, a massive 8.3 earthquake occurs 800 miles south west of Hawaii today at noon EDT. No Sunami's expected and no lives lost.

My prediction, it isn't going to happen.

You know, Neubarth, I admire your guts.

I often operate on instinct since I know I live in a world of less than perfect information, too.

And FWIW, my mother was also a seer (of a slightly different sort, but likewise frightening accurate with her visions)

Now as to your sense of danger in the economic and investing world?

Perhaps THIS might confirm that you might be onto something

Major US Banks Masked Risk Levels: Report

Major U.S. banks temporarily lowered their debt levels just before reporting in the past five quarters, making it appear their balance sheets were less risky, the Wall Street Journal said, citing data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

The paper said on Friday 18 banks, including Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS - News), Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS - News), J.P. Morgan Chase (NYSE:JPM - News) Bank of America (NYSE:BAC - News) and Citigroup (NYSE:C - News), understated the debt levels used to fund securities trades by lowering them an average of 42 percent at the end of each period.

The banks had increased their debt in the middle of successive quarters, it said.
I mean come on!

These masters of our economic universe are LYING to the public about the books.

If that isn't foreshadowing trying times ahead, I don't know what it's going to take to wake investors (and the general public) up.

They're LYING to us.

LYING about the books.

Does it get any worse than that?

Is one a communist or socialist or liberal if one thinks the master of capitalism who are lying to the public an anthema to honest capitalism?

I always have enjoyed your posts.
I hauled ass out of there in 2005, walking away from two businesses netting me 400 grand a year.
I'm not clairvoyant.
I have the ability to read a scenario and figure the outcome of the actions taken.
I was 200% right in my move.
I also saw the Euro scam. I bought at 118 and got out at 144.
I saved this post.
I hope you are incorrect but have a "gut feeling" you may be correct.

I know the future but I ain't tellin. Naa nah.
Now, there, podner. As I have told you and this group of nasty people on the board that you congregate with, be nice and I will be nice back. I'm an old man who was a salty sailor who has been in numerous knife fights, gun fights, and fist fights. I have numerous scars from stab wounds, one bullet hole and shrapnel wounds from the Yom Kippur war in 73. Cursing at a shithead means nothing to me, but we can have a civil board if we try. Don't insult me and I will not insult you back. You do not have to be over accommodating, just not nasty.

Now, that said, I do not know the future, so I can not tell you what awaits. All I have is a growing sense of ill-ease. Hopefully, nothing will come from it and everything will be wonderful, and I will have been wrong, or what I was sensing did not come to pass for whatever reason. I just have this feeling that something is wrong, but I do know know what it is. You might say that the balance between good and evil is shifting towards evil. I can feel that, but I do not know what it is.

If we were in the Star Wars movie, I'd say that the Dark Side of the Force is growing in strength. We will become more aware in the next two weeks just what it is that is growing that is foreboding and malevolent.

Honestly, I don't recall that. Could you give me a link?
I linked to it previously on this forum. It was on God Like Productions. I called the day it had hit bottom and posted it for the benefit of all. I went long that day, but continued to warn people that the V shaped recovery they were all expecting would not happen.

I agree with the 'star wars' analogy, the dark forces are at work and new revelations are to come I fear. I think many of us are bracing for the unsettling side-effects from the nonsense in Washington D.C. leadership.

Oh, BTW I hope you took the previous comments as joking, many of us have a peculiar sense of humor and I am one of which I do not wish to change.

WAshington DC nonsense?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it STILL criminal to have TWO SETS OF BOOKS?

And if the above is true (and it was reported by the WSJ as they were reporting the findings of the FED) then that doesn't really bode well for the economy.

Call me misguided, but I suspect that even the staunchest defender of of the status quo when it comes to our economic system takes a dim view of bankers who lie to them about the solvency of their banks.

Truck Drivers always used to have two sets of books. Not much was ever made of that for the longest time. Banks, on the other hand are supposed to be honest and forthright. Right?

Oops, I forgot, honesty and banks appear to be non-compatible now-a-days.

The solvency of banks issue is a good one. Remember, you can carry non performing debt on your books for as long as you want and not declare it as non performing. Because of that, insolvency is a new variable to banking. For the most part, a bank is not insolvent if it doesn't admit to being insolvent. That can go on for the longest time.

From personal experience, this is not true.

Your hypocrisy knows no bounds, does it? Or do you want a list of all the times I've said nothing insulting to you, yet you've responded with nasty insults and wishing me death? Not to mention the insults towards my family.

As previously noted, Pinko, you are seriously mentally ill. It is not my fault that you act crazy all of the time. You can persist in your illusions that the whole world is out to get you, but it is not true. Only a few people dislike you because you lie all of the time about the Federal Unemployment numbers and insist that people have to believe your numbers and if they do not believe your numbers, you will constantly annoy them with insults and nonsense. When the numbers you present as badinage are so phony as to be laughable, who the hell is going to believe you? You are nutz and you do need help. Please seek after professional guidance or you are going to constantly believe you are persecuted. :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

What the Hell are you talking about? Where are you getting the idea I think the world is out to get me? I don't think anyone is out to get me.

And yet you've never shown one single lie. How does that work? You say I lie all the time about the statistics but you've never given a single example.

Neubarth,

You have predicted both up and downs, so I guess you can claim you are right since you covered your bases.

I linked to it previously on this forum. .

So why can't you link to it again? Telling me you linked to a prediction sometime in some thread really doesn't help.

Listen, you disgusting creep. I am not going to waste my time again trying to find a post on GodLikeProductions. You go look if you want to. I linked to it in the past to show people that I called it spot on. I am not going to waste my time every four months linking to a post for you that you can look up yourself if you want to. You are absolutely the most disgusting piece of shit I have ever run across in my life. All you do is go out of your crazy way to annoy people all of the time. You are nutz. GO GET HELP!:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:
