Somebody named Cal Raleigh has 32 homers before the All-Star Break! Who?

Sadly I heard Raleigh is going to participate in the All-Star home run batting practice spectacle. He is too important to his team and he has a good chance of setting the major league home run record. Why risk it?

what are you worried about?.....

Off topic but Norway vs. Finland ladies is on. If you un-mute these Engllsh speaking announcers try to make 5 syllable 18 letter names seem household item?

Krinenangeraeergerbergera a shot! saved by Biccibungloval. Like he knows them all personally?

I couldn't read them off a sheet tied to numbers as good as these guys? Or they do homework or just make it up lol!

2-1 1st half but Nor beginning to control the game.

Not certain but I think they dropped it to 25 swings or something (was minutes) to quit killing the finalist so badly.
JMO but it just looks like BP to me. It's cool to be at a game to see and HEAR those guys hit bombs during warmups. But on TV? BORING :th_smiley_emoticons_gaehn:

I'm watching the Yankees play the Mariners and it looks like Yankee Stadium is damn near sold out. Even the expensive seats at field level are filled up. There can only be one reason for this, fans want to see Judge battle the Big Dumper for the longest moonshot.

Big Dumper LOL Can someone please give that guy a decent nickname?

Raleigh kind of blew the game, basically missed the tag at the plate on a sacrifice fly from Judge in the bottom of the 10th. Mariners blew the game when leading 5-3 that start the bottom of the 9th. Raleigh only went 1-11 in 3 games, but the hit was a HR.

That's baseball. Judge had a horrible stretch last month too. Yet they lead the majors in home runs.

15th post
He's got the record and has 30 games left to hit even more:

Only nine times in baseball history has a catcher hit 40 home runs in a season. Here's the leaderboard:

  1. Cal Raleigh, 2025: 49 and counting
  2. Salvador Perez, 2021: 48
  3. Johnny Bench, 1970: 45
  4. Javy Lopez, 2003: 43
  5. Roy Campanella, 1953: 41
  6. Todd Hundley, 1996: 41
  7. Johnny Bench, 1972: 40
  8. Mike Piazza, 1997: 40
  9. Mike Piazza, 1999: 40
