FYI: Idaho does have a death penalty. Gotta wonder though if this guy pleads insanity and avoids it.

All he need to do is show the judge his Democrat Party contribution cancelled check and he'll skate. Instant insanity finding.

Actually, no. People who prey on kids are targets in jail, because even among convicts, there is still some semblance of decency when it comes to kids.

If you are a pedophile, they nickname you "short eyes" in jail, and if that gets out, even if it is just a rumor, you will get hurt.

As far as the dude's motivation? They are saying that he was staying with a friend in the complex, but was told to leave when his behavior became erratic.

Personally? I think he targeted the refugee community because he was probably thinking that nobody would care. And, it wasn't just one kid that he stabbed, it was a total of 6, and he targeted a birthday party that some of the refugee families were having for a kid.

I hope he gets the death penalty for this. There is no call for going after kids just because you're pissed.
