Tax exemptions, tax deductions are not the same as Tax Credits given to Renewable Energy Corporations which are then sold for a profit.
Subsidies, that is money given to a corporation, not a tax deduction or tax exemption. Solar companies "Sell", tax credits for profit. A Solar Company gets a tax credit before construction begins, a Solar Company sells the tax credit, then uses that money to pay investors or to buy some equipment.
I gave an example in another thread, with links to federal trade commission documents that disclose the legal facts as required by law. I guess it should be dug up.
