So let me get this right.
- We cant have socialized healthcare bc it will bankrupt us all
- So capitalist healthcare charges us $20,000 for some stitches and $80 per Aspirin. $600 for a $10 insulin shot
And they rake in countless BILLIONS on these absurd prices.
Then a bad bug breaks out. VERY predictable if you look at history.
And the healthcare industry whines to govt saying “We dont have enough gloves and masks”, after a 4 week even and only 35,000 cases in America
SO NOW the healthcare industry says “Oh since WE cant handle this surge and we dont want to be overworked and overwhelmed we need ALL OF YOU to lose your jobs and businesses until WE can adapt.....then you all can go back to work and THEN we can get back to gouging you and your employers insurance for $50,000 for a broken ankle.”
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE ****ING JOKING ME RIGHT?
I wish I had time to tell you what a useful idiot you are,,in fact I do have the time but wont waste it on you,,,
but if you would like look at the countries with universal healthcare and you will see they are letting the old people die without care,,
Huntin' ain't no fun when the rabbit's got the gun, Hunter.
In Italy, old people are indeed being allowed to die not because of universal health care, but because they failed to contain the virus quickly enough, and the number of cases overwhelmed the health care system, filling all of the beds, and infecting many of the doctors and nurses caring for the patients. As more and more sick people went to hospital, there were no resources to treat them with and difficult choices had to be made.
The USA has fewer hospital beds, per capita, and fewer doctors and nurses per capita, than Italy, and you've failed utterly to contain the virus. The situation in Italy is upon you and your lowest wage workers are going to continue to go to work, and they won't get tested, because they cannot afford to be off work.
All of the corrupt practices of the American economy: the underpayment of workers, the reliance upon government income supports for low wage workers, and the lack of universal, no-copay health care, will guarantee that this virus will not go away in America. Because 60 of the people cannot afford to stay home, when they're sick.
