Communists and socialists are winning office in American.
They once were a part of the Democrat Party, now they have taken it over.

1. "CPUSA has been around since 1919, and in all those years, these three local wins represent the party's most successful election. The gains may seem modest, but according to party co-chair Joe Sims, they're part of the CPUSA's plan to fundamentally transform America.
While DSA members like Zohran Mamdani have won higher-profile elections, they've done so as Democrats who want to reform the party from within. The Communists, according to Sims, have no interest in reforming Democrats. They want to replace them.

2. The socialist resurgence shouldn't come as a surprise. After all, it's our own fault. We've allowed the statist left to take over academia. The America-hating hippies of the '60s became the tenured professors of the '70s. They've been training their successors and our children's educators ever since.

3 Education has been transformed into indoctrination. Kids who cannot even read their own diplomas are graduating from high schools across the country. It's by design. A kid who can't read and has never been taught basic math has few prospects. They become entirely dependent on the government for basic needs. So it's no surprise that, as adults, the 'Everything for free' rhetoric of a guy like Mamdani is very appealing to them.

4. Marxism requires dependence bred through ignorance. The young supporters of the DSA and CPUSA are being sold a bill of goods that will never be delivered. A promise of a working-class utopia which, as it always has, will devolve into breadlines. Or in this case, free bus rides to city-owned grocery stores with barren shelves.

5. Marxists are being supported by people who don't know any better, because they've never been taught the reality of how Marxist ideology inevitably ends. All because we have allowed our kids to be taught by Marxists for decades."

I believe that essentially the same thing is happening up here in Canada. It looks to me as if angry young Atheistic - Socialists have taken over in Canadas' Liberal Party over this past decade.

For the record, I joined Canada's Liberal Party in 2009 partly because I felt that it would be a good place to promote the alternative theory on stabilization of the climate through turning deserts green, that I had coopted from a New Mexico biologist and bicycling coach. By 2015 it was obvious that I could not possibly fit into the Liberal Party that P. M. Justin Trudeau was putting his fingerprints all over.

My guess is that Canadas' Prime Minister Mark Carney may well have been forced into a decision that I personally suspect that he did not want to make due to the possible rather obvious risks involved?

There is a rather famous video available that gives us a good idea of what type of young people are taking over in the USA Democratic Party as well as in Canada's Liberal Party.

No it hasn't. "Education" is not the boogeyman you're looking for.

Medicare and Social Security do just fine in this country. So socialism works here.
These are paid-for services, not socialism.

How about you leave and go to a socialist country?

Clearly you have no problem showing what a total imbecile you are.

What is their choice?

We are a home school family.
Then what’s your problem?

No one’s forcing you, or anyone, to send your kids to these schools where they’d supposedly be “indoctrinated”, so why all the bitching and moaning?

Socialism is an economic policy that seems utopian but in practice becomes a system for oppression and massive cronyism, shortages, dreadful quality of produced goods, and enforced lethargy. It happens every time. In a perverse way, it is too bad that the Soviet Union collapsed upon itself, because it was an object example of the folly of socialism. Indeed, it was not just a folly; it was a cancer. Imagine a grouping of countries where if you even threatened to leave for a better life, you could be shot and your family imprisoned - or worse. This remains the case in North Korea and Cuba, and yet the socialists among us pretend that these poignant examples do not exist.

So now in the U.S., the more divorced you are from the Real World, and the more historically illiterate you are, the more likely you are to embrace socialism as the solution for all of mankind's problems, especially poverty and illness. Here in the U.S., we have the figurative "Pope" of oblivious socialism in Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Mars).

And while some of our USMB correspondents deny it, teachers' unions are the main proponent of the folly of socialism. For most of us, it takes a few years working in the Real World to see how stupid this is, but alas it is possible to live one's entire life with minimal exposure to the Real World. Such people were on vivid display in the "No Kings" rallies of a few months ago.

Because I am an American and hate to see the indoctrinated masses the schools turn out.

See because you can't understand that I guess you are a govenment school grad.

You can send a dumb kid to the best school in the country and they still turn out to be a dumbass. It partly genetic and partly environmental. I can take a brilliant kid, put him any random school and he will thrive. My nephew is perfect example as he was valedictorian of a poor high school but got a full ride for engineering at the University of Florida and makes 6 figures right out of college. His poor high school did not slow him down a bit.

Kudo's to your nephew then Admiral , but it would appear he aspired to succeed despite our ed system, not because of it.......~S~

What I am trying to show you is that piss poor students will not succeed even if you send them to the "best" schools in the country. Good students will succeed no matter where they attend school.

Take a school full of Somali immigrant's kids from Minneapolis and put them into Boston's Latin school and see what kind of results you get. Some students may actually succeed, but the vast majority will flounder.

I'll take that on faith given your experience Admiral

but let me introduce this for consideration, what does any given industry assume when it no longer needs to compete for a customer?
