It is an ideal position to have to put pressure on whoever is hapless enough to be a client of a socially motivated social worker. Think of the children they can recommend be taken from intact families who have a mother and a father and given to gay parents instead!

Not addicts, but recovering drug addicts, certainly. They know what the addict is going through, more than anyone else.
