So Why Do You Hate Obama?

I don't hate Obama. I just think that he's been ineffective as a president.

Part of me agrees with him, the health care system has a lot of problems, but the way he went about fixing it has probably made matters worse. Imposing a huge new mandate on businesses and individuals who are already struggling is a terrible idea.

He brings a knife to a gunfight. It isn't just that the Republicans have rolled him- repeatedly, but the Democrats have, too.

In short, it isn't about idealogy, in so much as he's weak. And in a time when America has so many adversaries, military and economic, a weak president is a hinderance.

His foreign policy has been much stronger then Bush's. He's reassured allies and killed enemies.

He's the Michael Corleone of Presidents.

He is leaving 3000 troops as sitting ducks in Iraq. Against EVERY generals advice that he has received. Real genius

This has "what" to do with what I posted.

He's been killing our REAL enemies in record numbers.

Why do I?
"Once a Commie..............." Have we not seen enough of his "Fundamental Transformation Of Ametrica" to know by now? Let Him and Michelle go back to Chicago where they can do their hating of America in private, maybe in the company of a few folks, Jeremiah, Bill, Bernardine, but sequestered, where the ill effects don't reach out to touch 300 million people, only those immediately around.

It shows his two faced policy decision making mentality.

By the way, how do you feel about Obama ordering the killing of all those people in UBL's compound? Isnt that worse than capturing them and running water over their faces?

Do I "HATE" President Obama? No, no, I don't "HATE" him. As an American, I may have voted for the other guy, but I understand the consequences of elections and I do not hate him. I have said before on this board that I really wanted President Obama (again for Sallow) to succeed. But he has not. And the reason he has not is so simple. He has absolutely NO CLUE as to what he is doing or proposing. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of professors who's "real world" experience compares only to the policy making experience of the muppets. President Obama does not know anything about business and believes that most corporations and small businesses are evil and that CEO's spend their time contemplating how to steal from their employees and rape the environment. Well, all except Jeffery Immelt, George Soros and Warren Buffett. They're okay because they fund his aspirations and tell him how wonderful he is.

I think that the only one in the Obama administration that I would say rises to the level of an "extreme dislike" would be Attorney General Eric Holder. Can anyone look at ANYTHING this bozo has done and not smell something rotten? From bringing the Guantanemo detainees to America to be tried, to the Gibson Guitar fiasco, to Operation Fast and Furious, to the Black Panther cover-up, Eric Holder gives rise to a new meaning of "incompetence" and "special interest." I especially like the fact that recently someone on this board from the left has decryed a commentator trashing the CIA and has moaned how they are the "true heroes." Son, Eric Holder is going to try and prosecute your "heroes" for waterboarding KSM. I don't even hate him though. I wouldn't let him into my house, but I don't hate him.

Three Thousand?

Where did you get that number?

According to About.com the number of troops still in Iraq (as of 6/30/11) is 44,000.

Troops in Iraq - Total 44,000 U.S. troops as of June 30, 2011. All other nations have withdrawn their troops.

I posted a story in another thread that does state Obama wants to leave 3,000 to 5,000 troops in Iraq, but that generals think it's too few.

Yeah? Didn't he also say he would have us out of Iraq? Aren't we still there? We'll still be there when he leaves the White House for good too whether it is in 2013 or 2017 and it will more than likely not be 3000-5000 soldiers with targets painted on their backs but closer to 50,000 as we have right now.

He's reasured allies like Russia, so much so that they are helping Iran make nukes.

Meanwhile enemies like the Czech Republic and Poland could kiss his ass, because him and Russia hit the reset button.

I loved it. It sends a very clear message. If you kill Americans you..and everyone around you is subject to the wrath of America.

You can run..but you can't hide.

Iran just suffered a pretty big cyber attack.

Set the nuke program back years.

So we can just kill them without a trial even when they are unarmed but we cant detain and waterboard them?

Yes, President Obama is a moderate Democrat...and you are still an imbecile.

Merely repeating yourself isn't an argument. It is babbling.

Do moderates believe the Constitution is flawed and needs to contain redistribution of wealth? No, I dont think so.
Obama rips U.S. Constitution

I know you've been brainwashed by FOX and World Nut Daily  (did you REALLY post a link to World Nut Daily?...Imbecile) to believe that President Obama is a far left, socialist, Marxist, nazi, muslim or whatever, but he isn't. Even the infamous "Obamacare" isn't anything resembling a "far left" idea. A "far left" health care plan would have been universal health care or at least a public option.

Reagan raised taxes 11 times. Isn't that what you ascribe "redistribution of wealth" to be? Imbecile.

Not to point out the obvious (but I will anyways!) Sea, but Barack Obama WANTED universal health care he just couldn't GET universal health care. He also wanted Cap & Trade and Card Check but didn't GET either of those things either. The same for raising taxes on the wealthy. Trying to pass things and not being able to pull it off isn't the same as not wanting them in the first place. That doesn't prove that Obama is a "moderate" it just proves he's not very good at putting together political alliances and passing HIS agenda despite having super majorities to work with. In other words...he's incompetent.

those 44000 will be there forever. We need a base there when we take down Iran.

The more millitary the U.S. has in the Arab and Persian world, the safer the world is.

the 3000 troops talked about will be operrating in hostile territory, Obama against the advise of his generals in leaving them to die.

President Obama is a moderate Democrat. He ran on being a moderate Democrat. Liberals need to get over themselves...Kucinich didn't win, Obama did.

If liberals paid ANY attention to his campaign, they'd know that he ran as a moderate Democrat and they would stop having their little parking lot tantrums about all that he "didn't do".

As for his being a "corporate shill"...welcome to the reality of American politics. Until we have public financing of campaigns, all our representatives will be bought and paid for by corporations.

Sucks doesn't it? Apparently not enough for us to actually DO anything about it, but it still sucks.

Obama a moderate? Really?
I guess next to Bernie sanders he might rank as one.
The truth is Obama is from the Left. That's where his political upbringing was. That was his base within the party. He and the Dums achieved as much of the radical agenda as they could. They couldn't do more not because of the GOP but because of the true moderates in the Democratic Party.

Yes, President Obama is a moderate Democrat...and you are still an imbecile.

If Obama is a moderate, then Hilary would be a conservative....is that what you want us to think? :eusa_whistle:

I don't hate Obama, I don't like his policies. I agree with the other poster here, hate is a strong emotion, it wastes my precious time.

I grew up in Chicago, with lots of political interaction. I saw what Obama represented before he won the primary. He's an embarrassment to the Democratic Party, but it's not because he's too moderate.

I do believe however, he is one of the greatest speakers I've ever listened to........ until you take away TOTUS.

Someone needs to tell him to grab a copy of Blanchards, One Minute Manager. It might help.

So you're saying that Obama did not give a radio interview where he stated the Constitution was flawed and should have contained redistributionist policies?

The reason they didnt include single payer is as follows, as explained by your butt buddy Barney Frank.

Interesting... around the 2:50 mark, Obama implies courts should not make decisions on things that will cost people money, and that it gets messy with separation of powers issues.

I wonder if he'll think that when SCOTUS gets the healthcare law in their case load?
