Has anyone else noticed that when you do something nice like hold the door, or let a car merge into your lane when you don't have to, fewer and fewer people bother to thank you?

yeah it's like it is expected! I mean being nice should be our goals all the time, but common courtesy never hurt anyone no matter the social scale!

I can't fight city hall on everything, but that does irrate me because it is wrong and someday some community in this country will burn down because of that very thing.
