So the republican solution to our healthcare system is as little government as possible right?

Oh and your timing is completely wrong anyway. In January of 2010, the unemployment rate went down below 10%. It went even lower in February. In March of 2010 it was 9.7%.
Yet again, your illiteracy trips you up and causes you to stumble. Your poor reading comprehension continues to cause you to respond to things that were never said. I would strongly encourage you to take reading comprehension courses at your local community college and get extra tutoring while enrolled in those courses.

In post #514 we clearly see that I stated unemployment never went below 9% under October 2011. Your response is “your time is wrong, unemployment went below 10% in 2010”. No shit. The problem is, I never said when it went below 10%. I said 9%:
And the first time that unemployment drops below 9% is October 2011 😂

Game. Set. Match.

Denying reality doesn’t change reality 😂

I did just realize that you really didn’t know how to read the chart. You hilariously thought that was just 2009 because you failed to read it 😂

First time unemployment dropped below 9% was October 2011. Or 10 months after Republicans took control of the nation coast-to-coast. Thanks for proving yet again that conservative policy results in prosperity!

So to summarize, in 3 different posts (#506, #514, and #519) I clearly and specifically stated that unemployment never went below 9% until October of 2011.

But your illiteracy / reading comprehension deficiencies are so severe, they cause you to respond to things that were never said - claiming I was wrong on dates while citing 10% 🤦🏼‍♂️

God Bless you, buddy. I know you’re doing your best. But this subject matter is clearly above you. The discussion is too complex for you. You really should put your time and energy into something more on par with your abilities (and into improving your literacy / reading comprehension). I’m not being sarcastic or mocking you. Honestly wishing the best for you and hope you will heed this good advice.

lol it’s adorbable how much time you spent on this absolutely nothing. Moron you claimed the recession didn’t go down until 2011. I clearly laid out for you that wasn’t the case. The rate was going DOWN well prior to that as was job growth. You’re such a pathetic childish sack of shif lol. Quit embarrassing yourself

The chart you can’t read (😂) directly from Obama’s own administration:

It’s ok…we all understand that this material is way above your mental capacity to grasp. Don’t feel bad. You’re vote Democrat for a reason. It’s not your fault. You can’t help you were born a tad slow. Doesn’t make you a bad person 👊🏻
lol again all your toddler attempt at gaslighting is just an epic fail. I don’t know if you think you are being clever or something but you’re such a ******* retard.

I wish I could say the same to you, but your shocking level of lack of awareness about this content is just sad. Definitely explains why you vote Democrat.

The original point was that a bunch of geezers got hoodwinked by hysterical GOP propaganda about the ACA a decade and a half ago. And, lo and behold, here you are!

Your reading comprehension is close to nothing. But, if you were to invest in yourself at a local community college and some tutoring, I’m certain you could make great strides in that shortcoming.
Moron you claimed the recession didn’t go down until 2011.
I didn’t “claim” anything. I merely shared an indisputable fact.

Obama’s own administration released numbers that showed unemployment never fell below 9% until October 2011 (or 10 months after Republicans took control of the U.S. coast-to-coast).

No “gaslighting”. Everyone can clearly see this content is way above you. You should spend time on subject matter that is more on par with your age, literacy, and intellect.

Premiums relative to 2009 for employer-based coverage aren't even 100% higher today, fifteen years later. They certainly weren't after the ACA passed in 2010.

Just going by the story you've been telling, the premium you're paying hasn't changed since the ACA passed fourteen years ago. So what doesn't ring true about the reality that premium growth in the ACA era has been the lowest on record?

If you say so. You're an extreme outlier, given that we've just had the slowest period of cost and premium growth on record since the ACA passed.

You're lying again.

No. He is a propagandist, and learned from Goebbels: The Big Lie. Make it big, keep it simple, openly deny obvious reality, and just keep repeating it. Eventually, it is accepted as fact.

You mean the “death panel” that was actually in the original bill, you uninformed imbecile?? 😂

I never cease to marvel at just how damn dumb the left is 🤦🏼‍♂️

Not dumb. Dishonest.

You're lying again.
2009: "The average cost of premiums for single coverage in 2009 is $402 per month or $4,824 per year."
2023: "The average annual premium for employer-sponsored health insurance in 2023 is $8,435 for single coverage."

That's a cumulative 75% increase over a 14-year period (or ~4% growth per year on average). You won't find another decade-and-a-half stretch with lower premium growth than that.

As I said, premiums relative to 2009 for employer-based coverage aren't even 100% higher today, fifteen years later. They certainly didn't suddenly jump 100%+ after the ACA passed in 2010.

And yet...my wife's TRIPLED. For worse coverage. Fortunately, adding her to my insurance "only" was about a 50% increase in what she had been paying. (Which was why she wasn't on my insurance all along.)

Wow, a second hand anecdote vs a mountain of data. On the one hand, employer-based coverage experienced all-time lows in cost growth after the ACA passed. On the other hand, a bullshit story about a third party devoid of actual information. So hard to weigh these things.

15th post
On the one hand, employer-based coverage experienced all-time lows in cost growth after the ACA passed.
On one hand, more than 10 million insured people lost their health insurance after the ACA passed (while Democrats adamantly declared that would never happen - White House emails later showed them discussing how this would in fact happen).

On the other hand, more than 10 million insured people lost their doctor after the ACA passed (while Democrats adamantly declared that would never happen - White House emails later showed them discussing how this would in fact happen).

Facts matter. Stop thinking you can ignore them away.

Nothing is “100% higher today, fifteen years later”. Absolutely nothing.
  • Automobiles aren’t 100% higher today than they were 15 years ago
  • Houses aren’t 100% higher today than they were 15 years ago
  • Food isn’t 100% higher today than it was 15 years ago
  • Flights aren’t 100% higher today than they were 15 years ago
In typical left-wing fashion, you set the bar so absurdly low, even total failure is a “win” in your mind 🤦‍♂️

Basically anything the Democrats do is worthy of worship, in your opinion.

A year in which only 3% of the population switched insurances or providers would be the lowest turnover on record.
