You angered someone here with too many pesky facts that he just threw a chair at the wall.
It’s hysterical the clowns thst call brady the goat when just like I said,he couldn’t even take a mere hit to the knee without going down fir an entire season missing every game.Total wussville
.lol then going to goddell whining to him to have the rules changed on hits on quarterbacks, shit Unitas and Otto graham whom someone just mentioned earlier, they had to go through that on a weekly basis back then every week and thought nothing of it.they played in a day and age where REAL men played quarterback and like you said, the day and age where quarterbacks like Montana and Jim Kelly would be be piledriven into the ground was routine back then as well.Mahomes and Brady they would NEVER agree to play in that day and age had they been around back then, not happening
You're coming at this knowing the end of the story for one player and not the other. You are correct Brady did what most QB's don't do play exceptionally and win SB's post the prime of their career. He also did what QB's don't do and not win SB's in the prime of their career. If you look at both of their careers at the same point through year 7 who are you taking? Who projects as the better player?Brady played 22 seasons and played in 10 Super Bowls and won 7 of them
That is the bar Mahomes has to beat
After the age of 37 when most QBs are reaching the end of their career, Brady won 4 Super Bowls
Losing in the WC or Divisional round instead of the SB doesn't make it better dumb ass. It means you lost to a lesser team.No. Every player has bad games.
Some players rise to the challenge in the biggest moments. Some players shit the bed when their legacy is on the line. And yes, that matters when we’re talking about the GOAT, a term that doesn’t get thrown around lightly, and has a very small margin for error.
This really isn't about Mahomes (though he apparently lives rent free in your head) it's about your stupid take on what's "living in the past" or whether the GOAT discussion is over because of one game. You can try to kiss Mahomes ass all you want. But the fact remains that Brady never gave a Super Bowl performance as abysmal as what your boyfriend did the other night.

Through 7 years starting (both sat their first year)
Mahomes made the PO's all 7 times. Made the Conference Champ game all 7 times. Made the SB 5 times winning 3.
Brady went 9-7 and missed the PO's his second year. Made 5 Conference champ games and 4 SB's winning 3.
Brady in the PO's 26 TD's 12 Int's 14-3.
Mahomes in the PO's 46 TD's 10 Ints 19-4.
Brady 2 SB MVP's 1 league MVP
Mahomes 3 SB MVP's 2 league MVPs
You want to penalize Mahomes because he was more successful. Brady didn't play well enough one year to even make the post season, Mahomes hasn't lost before the conference championship game in his career.
BTW Brady lost to the Ravens in the WC round 33-14 in 2009 throwing 3 picks and a fumble.
Until later in his career Brady was NOT the driving force behind NE winning SB's. It wasn't his job to win the games it was his job to not lose them and let the defense win them. That's not a recipe for huge flops. Mahomes has never been in that situation.
I'll keep saying this failing to play well earlier and losing doesn't make you better.
I'll also keep saying this.
If I went into a coma for the next 15 years, and when I woke up if you told me that Mahomes never won another SB I'd be surprised but I'd definitely believe it. If you told me he won 5 more I'd be surprised but I'd believe that too.
The only reason who was the GOAT was even on the table this year was because the Chiefs had an opportunity to do something no other team had done win 3 in a row, them not doing that doesnt end the GOAT discussion. Mahomes isnt 37 he's 29.
Where are you getting that Mahomes' game depends on speed and agility?I think Mahomes is a vastly more skilled QB than Brady (So was Peyton)…..doesn’t make them the GOAT
For the early part of his career, Brady was considered an average QB at best.He was a game manager who kept the Patriots in the game and found a way to win at the end.
So comparing the beginnings of their career, looks like Mahomes is on track to beat him.
Things working against Mahomes winning 8 SBs
I don’t think Andy Reid will be around for the second half of his career
Teams like the Ravens, Bills, Eagles, Lions competing in the playoffs
Mahomes game depends on speed and agility that makes him more likely to get hurt and will fade in his 40s
Repeating your stupid nonsense doesn’t make it any less stupid.
It was the biggest stage and your boyfriend played like complete dog shit. That matters when we’re talking about GOAT status.
?Where are you getting that Mahomes' game depends on speed and agility?
He did screw the pooch on SundayDid Mahomes fuck your sister or something?
No one is saying he didnt. That's not even the argument. What's worse. Playing poorly in a championship game or playing so poorly of the course of the year that you dont even make it to the post season? He did screw the pooch on Sunday
Playing poorly in front of 100 million peopleNo one is saying he didnt. That's not even the argument. What's worse. Playing poorly in a championship game or playing so poorly of the course of the year that you dont even make it to the post season?
It was more than that, I think 133 million people watched that awful halftime show, which was/is the new record for that.Playing poorly in front of 100 million people
You’re not answering the questionPlaying poorly in front of 100 million people
Are you really saying that it's better for at QB's legacy to just suck in the regular season and not make the PO's than to play poorly in the SB? Really? That it's better to get blown out in the wild card round than in the SB?Playing poorly in front of 100 million people

Sorry but that's batshit crazy. So Josh Allen because he's never lost in the SB is above Mahomes in the "QB pantheon"?Yes it is
Winning on the big stage establishes your legacy
Eli Manning would rank higher than Big Ben?Yes it is

I look at them about the sameEli Manning would rank higher than Big Ben?
Not even closeSorry but that's batshit crazy. So Josh Allen because he's never lost in the SB is above Mahomes in the "QB pantheon"?
