Brady at 43 beat Mahomes head to head in the Super Bowl. What made it ever more incredible is Brady was in his first season with Tampa Bay. Brady is the GOAT. Mahomes is a 1st ballot HOFer, but not the GOAT.

Brady is certainly the GOAT but that particular game is not a fair comparison. The Bucs that year had an even more dominating defense than the Eagles this year. Like I said if you drop Brady into Mahome's position yesterday, he would have faired no better.

I don't blame Mahomes as much as I do the Chief's coaching. I believe it was the 2nd play after halftime when he finally had a good connection with a receiver by getting the ball out immediately, but then they returned to dropping back into the pocket and acting like they could handle the Eagles' rush.

There's enough "blame" to go around. There was a play or two where Mahomes basically stepped into the rush. There was an early play where Mahomes had an open receiver to his right (I forget which WR). There was another play where Worthy was just standing there.

Another play--Mahomes was going to screen to Kelce, but Sweat was just too quick. Yeah, the O line was also at fault. Humphrey was just looking for someone to block on at least one play. I don't think the Eagles blitzed the entire game, so you should quickly pick up a rusher when you have 5 on 4.

The Chiefs were also not running the ball early on. What was that all about?

If they had Tyreek, then maybe that helps them. Ridiculous that you get rid of your best receiver. Pay the guy.

I know this is a discussion just for fun, but people often focus on current players. Projecting that far ahead for Mahomes is just dumb.

There's also plenty of other players that are far above Mahomes. How many people have ever heard of Otto Graham? His title record is equal to Brady. I believe he still holds the record for yards/completion. He rarely lost as a QB, and probably holds the best win %.

And then there's Rice, Brown, Montana, etc.
