I was an attorney in California when kumquat Harris was attorney General. She basically abandoned the office which allowed prosecutors to do whatever they wanted. They prosecuted everyone. Without an attorney General in control prosecutors applied 3 strikes to everything. They refused to make a deal without fear of anyone talking about burdening the courts. She slept in every day and slowed the process to a crawl.

They were prosecuting young black men more than anyone, you had to love that.
