Trump played the left like a fiddle. He put on a clinic on how to show dominance. Mamdani was reduced to looking like an intern.

1) Mamdani asked for the meeting. Trump showed he was willing to meet with anybody, proving himself a reasonable man.
2) Trump elevated the Communist and made him the face of the Democrat Party. Won't bode well for midterms.
3) The loony leftwing base is absolutely apoplectic Mamdani kissed Trump's ring, hat in hand.
4) The powerful man is always seated. The weak man is always standing. Trump cemented the image by patting Mamdani like a young underling.

All I need to know is that Trump has a strategy, an angle, and he will play it within the bounds of the law because he knows he must deal with this guy now who is mayor of NYC, but if you know Trump, you know he has an angle that will turn this to his advantage.
