Not only can I not work from home, I've been asked not to take any time off for the next month. That's never happened in the 15 years I've worked there.

We were mostly prepared. I just went to the store earlier and stocked up on food again. We likely could get by several months without going back, plus we have a good bit of survival foods. Good on the tp too. If this BS lasts for another few months we are likely done anyway. I've read all kinds of teotwawki stories and you know what? It never happens like you think it will. Now if they'll just shut the phones and internet down I'll go clean my garage like I did in the 80's.

Had some excitement last week.......not much but now it sucks........Tornado went over the house high enough to cause a leak...........loosened a whole bunch of shingles the flap part.......broke a few.......and a small tree limb put a small hole in the roof.

Had to take out that whole section and put in new wood and shingles........now I'm slowly putting a small amount of tar under the flaps across the roof to make sure they are glued down.........Over a third of the roof got loosened.........

Been around a long time.......never seen this before.

I was gonna start a thread about infinite lending and what appears to be an official announcement that, indeed, reserves are fictional, but it'd probably be a waste of time.

No problem if you are retired or have an alternate income. The Walmart is still fully stocked (including T.P.) and the shelves in the ABC store are full. I pity the small business owners and small corporations. It seems like the intent of State governors (Va.) is to bankrupt America.

Doing fine. Worst is all closures where there are no covid cases. All mechanics and auto parts shut Friday. Can't get parts deliverys. WTF

Wife is furloughed and that will last as long as the ban on elective surgery lasts, but I am still working as construction is exempt here. Have the crap we need and avoiding the stores and anything crowded for now.
Have the bank giving us a 90 day payment relief on mortgage in case finances get dicey.
