At least according to trump. Apparently air fare is only $2.00

Which is good because I need to fly back to Kansas and get my ID so I can buy some milk here.

“We’re gonna start a big investigation on that because it’s– I’ve never seen anything like it,” he said. “Nobody’s ever seen anything like it. Nobody has ever seen anything like it. The worst overruns that there have ever been in the history of our country. And it wasn’t even necessary. I would have said, you don’t buy it. You take an airplane – it costs you $2. It costs you nothing. You take an airplane. But this got started. And if you have to, you drive, you can drive.”

Do you think the California high speed rail project is a success?

Do you think air fare costs $2.00?

Evidently you think a high speed rail ticket would cost the same as a subway ride in 2009.

Amtrak on short runs, the ones where high speed rail might actually make sense is not 100x cheaper than airfare, which you seem to be implying.

I've seen the plans for high speed rail in Ohio. The plans were for a train that would make just 4 stops across the state, in the Shithole cities of Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland.

All of the other towns , villages, townships in the state would still have to pay, but would get zero benefit. And those cities where it doesn't stop, would have to endure waiting in their cars at grade crossing while this train passed.

Why not let the High Speed rail stop in every city, instead of just a select few ?

Airliners don't stop everywhere either, of course. But they pass all of the "flyover" cities at 5 or 6 miles high, and they don't bother people like this high speed crap.

The dems and Gavin in Cali have completely robbed the tax payers of billions of dollars for this high speed rail project

They will be investigated, what a complete failure Gavin and the Dems have been for Cali

Trains don't require air traffic controllers.
