SNL Mocks Murder Of Insurance CEO

I can't find the skit, the OP video doesn't even show it. Just some screenies.

Okay then my apologies as I made a mistake. There I just said a phrase that you'll NEVER hear a leftist say.
Well, I still find it concerning that you didn’t even know that this man was a CEO of an insurance company. I mean, this is like the biggest news story currently in the news cycle….

But you always admit when you’re mistaken and don’t double down on falsehoods like some people here, I’ll give you that

The OP is likely not particularly concerned about this guy's death, among the thousands of people that died on the same day. I'm not, other than a brief moment of sympathy for him and his family before I turned back to things that affect me and my family.

The point is that the other thousands of people were not mocked on what has become perhaps the most blatantly biased and unfunny sketch "comedy" show ever, outside of countries like the Soviet Untion and North Korea.

That was literally what the writers, producers and other "talent" on that show thought was funny, and apparently not one of them objected. At least not out loud.
Except it wasn't him they were mocking. Specifically they implied that perhaps they could have caught him if every cop in the vicinity had not been guarding the Christmas tree which they showed, and it was surrounded by NYC PD officers.

Although I am concerned a little bit, I'm currently more concerned for the reaction of the left about SNL making jokes about the situation.
Why is that something that concerns you? You don't have REAL, important things going on in your life more deserving of your concern than the assassination of a CEO whom the shooter has alleged to be greedy and who the shooter has clearly expressed why this happened to him, with the words on his shell casing that were ejected from his weapon and left behind at the crime scene.

All criminals should be shot?

You think that’s empathy? :icon_rolleyes:

Why do you care so much about the criminals?

1srelluc posted it on post #60.

Yet she begin her OP with

You're still not focusing on the bigger picture here.

I didn't kid. You did.

I didn't kid anywhere.

Maybe this will help you understand where all the empathy has gone in this situation:

Manhunt for UnitedHealthcare CEO Killer Meets Unexpected Obstacle: Sympathy for the Gunman

As they search for the man who assassinated a top health-insurance executive in Midtown Manhattan last week, authorities are contending with an unanticipated challenge: an outpouring of popular sympathy for the killer.

From online forums and social media to the streets of Manhattan, people have been celebrating the suspect as a quasi-folk hero who struck a blow against a detested institution—the nation’s for-profit healthcare system.

In most instances, they were rooting for the killer to evade capture and defending his actions—or remarking on his good looks. But in some cases, expressions of support have crossed over into calls to stymie a police manhunt that, on Sunday, entered its fifth day with the suspect yet to be named.

On the social-media platform X, for example, several people suggested flooding the police with fake tips or dressing like the killer to confuse law enforcement. In New York’s Washington Square Park, a group held a look-alike contest on Saturday.

Meanwhile, some online sleuths who have made a habit in recent years of banding together in informal posses to try to solve crimes are withholding their services.
