Consider that when anyone, including Donald Trump, says that they are going to lower the price of groceries. The people who are selling items at current rates now know that the public will tolerate that level of cost.

The prices of shit is not coming down.

The crime of inflation is that it happened and that is Biden's fault though his fucked up polices. But that does not mean that the people who lifted those prices to meet their business margins are simply going to give them back; because the business margins won't be getting lower in this environment. If they were, then they'd have to be willing to take a pay cut.

Lowered inflation is helpful, but inflation will never go away, so everyone is going to have to be patient and wait for the economy to equalize.
