since the last one they won was in 1988 and since then they are 0-16 in the playoffs including their 2 WS loses its about time....

It just got a little boring to watch baseball when it was always the same 4 or 5 teams playing the World Series.
When I left San Diego, I sort of followed baseball, but when they went on strike, I stopped caring.

I just follow football and sometimes hockey.

During the 90s I followed the NBA because of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordon.

When Jordon retired I stopped watching.

Basketball is a sport best watched in person anyway.

always been good pitchers but now with slow motion you can see just how good some of these guys can be

slow it down at 1.40, it looks like the earth spinning..........that is just a sick pitch!

Takes a lot to even get to the WS anymore with playoffs like hockey now. Any wild card team can get hot and knock the best team off early.

thats why i think about all this buying the best team doesnt work as often as some think it does.....like you said getting hot makes a difference.....how many times have we seen the teams that won 100 games fall in the first round?........

Correct....but the big payroll usually ensures you get to the postseason regularly with a chance to go all the way.
