whoopieHow you them is factually inaccurate. AL wasn't a state until 1819.
The opposite is true. Why don't you want a majority to have control over policies affecting them?
That's the Houses job.Why don't you want a majority to have control over policies affecting them?
Who’s gonna produce the food? The majority can’t.I want the Senate to more closely represent the views of the vast majority of Americans.
You understand there were no organized political parties when the Constitution was ratified, right? Therefore, no chance of fractured partisan politics like we have now. Getting the picture? Probably not.whoopie
NY vs RI then.
The roughly 60M residents of NY and CA are represented by 4 senators. The same can be said for the roughly 3.6M residents of WY and IO. How is that democratic?
because the house is based on population. the senate is based on states, equally. The roughly 60M residents of NY and CA are represented by 4 senators

You said that already. It doesn't change how grossly under represented the residents of large states are in the Senate. And since the House can effectively negate anything the Senate does................................because the house is based on population. the senate is based on states, equally.
Then there would be no Democrats in the Senate.I want the Senate to more closely represent the views of the vast majority of Americans.
My plan is to have a majority of Americans rule federal policy.

and I'll keep saying it til it gets thru your thick skull. You said that already
So you think the organizing principle of the Constitution was agriculture? You know this was before commercial farming, right?Who’s gonna produce the food? The majority can’t.
It’s mentalities like yours that inspired the constitution.
