Nope. They have never done a mid census redistricting, right after they did a Census redistricting required by our Constitution. This is not to realign districts to coincide with your newly recorded changes in your population.

Texas is doing this unusual and unprecedented, middle of the 10 year national census redistricting SOLELY to realign the districts they just created and just passed, to CHEAT and create 5 more gerrymandered seats in the Republican politician's favor, and take away the ability for the voter's voices to be heard in Texas, the population numbers stay as the previous census numbers so it is not population change as a possible legit mid 10 year reason, it simply gives Donald Trump the power he desires by this CHEATING and accommodating his cheating request....and doing this outside of what the constitution requires....for the once every 10 year census.

So you on the left pump the country full of millions of illegals...which get counted in the census...giving you additional House seats...but then when the Trump Administration corrects that by deporting those millions of illegals that you deliberately let into the country, you don't want a census that gives us an accurate number of people in each State because you KNOW that accurate number will cost the Democrats those additional seats. So who's really the cheaters here? You on the left ignored our immigration laws...flooded the country with illegals and used those millions of illegals to allow you to keep House seats that you should have lost!

States get 1 representative for every +/-760,000 people in their individual state.

The only states with enough immigrants concentrated in their State to give them more representatives are California, Texas, and Florida.... And the state of NY is getting close to being able to get an extra rep, but they have not hit the threshold yet...

Both Florida and Texas have had huge increases in people moving into those States, Care! Not illegals but regular Americans who no longer wanted to live in Democrat led cities like New York and Chicago and States like California. Both of those States will be getting more representatives whenever a new census is done and that has nothing to do with Gerrymandering.

I’m about as ultra-right wing Conservative and Authoritarian as it comes, politically. I was born in Connecticut, went to college in Rhode Islabd, and spent the last 27 years of my life as a resident of Massachusetts.

I have BEVER, in my 51 years of life actually been directly represented by a State or Federal Congressperson (either house of either level) or Executice (Governor or POTUS).

So let me explain how politics works around here… First off, there is only one actual Party - Democrat Party. The Republican Party does not exist in any meaningful way in this region of the country. Why?… because there are no seats to be won here. Voting Democrat is a trained response from childhood for 80%+ of the population. There is no discussion of voting for anyone else. Not that the Republicans actually campaign for the few candidates they run… it’s not worth the money.

When the population of an area is so totally skewed towards the leftists this is exactly what happens. Most of the free-thinking moderates or conservatives born in this area get out as soon as they can and what these states import in return is all bright blue.

What’s even more concerning is that the New England metropolitan centers are growing closer and closer to being a single combined entity, not unlike a spiders web or the disturbing cityscapes of many science fiction worlds. The DSA Marxist Democrats response to Texas highly revealing. Such brazen and desperate attempts to rig the elections even further, highlights how little support they truly have. Democrats believe they've been operating on the illusion of majority support for a very long time. It seems to me, their actual base of support somewhere between 20-30% and without gerrymandered districts, bloated rolls, mass mailed ballots, zero security measures, zero oversight/scrutiny and the ability to control the process, Democrats are politically non viable in places most Americans can’t even imagine.
How many states have no Democratic Party representatives?
California has so fixed their election system that they have had Senate races where the two top democrats ran against each other with the republican shut out of the race. That is called Ranked Choice Voting.
Democrats seem to always quote and abide by laws that favor their desires of the moment (meaning those that increase the power of the Democrats) while blatantly ignoring the laws that do not favor them, including the Constitution.
In a State like New York or California my vote doesn’t count, Gerrymandering cancels my vote.
Want six more Democrats in the U.S. Senate? Make Puerto Rico, Alberta, and Saskatchewan States.

In general, do Republicans require a generally larger criminal class of constituents to get elected? Hmmm. Several of those state are among the highest educated in the country, such as Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire. Are you guys having trouble breaking through to the intelligent, educated crowd that can analyze facts from fiction, and just mainly more successful in lessor educated states? You do seem more successful in lowed educated states such and West Virginia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, you know, good RED States. Hmmm. Higher median income seems to be typical for the states on the American Stinker hit list, in general, also, such as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Hawaii, and Rhode Island. Looks like the states on the American Stinker list typically do well, without you, as they have money and not as easily bought.
