Do you listen to angry lesbian rock, Bannedecea???? Artists like Melissa Etheridge? K.D Lang? Four Non-Blondes? What are your favorite muff-diving tunes that "move you"? Are you an old school Joni Mitchell fan?????
(snicker)
Melissa Etheridge's tune "You Can Sleep While I Drive" is a winner through and through. There is nothing "angry" about it except in your empty head. I seem to recall you as a filthy mouth, BTW. I loved Melissa and Bruce Springsteen doing a duet on Thunder Road. She said in her opening "what if I just called him", and out he walks onstage, with guitar.
I was at a Springsteen concert in DC (before the Big Man died). Some LGBTs unfurled a banner in the top tier saluting Bruce. He blew kisses back at them, saying he loved them too. This is how it's done when we are all human beings together.
I'm always a Jersey girl. Bruce will always be the Boss.

You dig the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ ......I "get it". I guess I am simply "old school" that believes one's sexual proclivities are best kept to themselves instead of advertising it for public consumption. I blame the fraudulent "Kinsey Report" that was funded by the Rockefeller Foundation for the "loud and proud.."queer movement" among other factors.
What exactly is Springsteen the "boss" of? His voice sounds like he is struggling to have a bowel movement. Two cats ******* in an alley versus Springsteen's vocal capabilities? I'd say that it's a tie.......
Hope this helps!!!
How does anyone advertise their "sexual proclivities" in public? Where you live, does anyone have sex in public? Here on the east coast, we don't. Is walking around in public with your partner "advertising" your "sexual proclivities"? Do you kiss (in public) at the airport when you are greeting a loved one?
Springsteen is a unique talent, both as a songwriter and a guitarist. He has a creative mind and incredible energy. He is up there with the Greats. I was seated where I could see the stage. Clarence Clemons was frail at that time and needed an elevator to get him to the stage. When he was finished on stage, who helped him back onto the elevator and then ran down the stairs to help him out of it. Not some roadie. Bruce himself. He could have paid someone to do this, but that's Bruce. Personally being there. I saw what love and friendship is all about. Don't go babbling off about being gay or something. They were both heterosexuals. It's what you do when you have heart.
Got to add this. Who got a helicopter out here to DC for the Obama inaugural to pick up a 90-something PETE SEEGER from his place on the Hudson and escorted him out in bone chilling cold to sing. Bruce and Seeger's grandson. I'll never forget Bruce's worshipful treatment of Roy Orbison, either. He did everything for Orbison but kiss his feet.
