I have no problem with that, just like I have no problem with a fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage.I own two companies. I have an equal partner in one and sole ownership of another.
I, along with my partner, have a responsibility to our businesses to ensure they're profitable and healthy. If that means that some people are shown the door, so be it, because the alternative is far less attractive. The alternative is that, instead of letting a few people go, we fire everyone and close our doors. If our business isn't profitable then there's no reason to have the business.
I would much rather let five people go because of increased minimum wage than shut the doors and put 70 people out of work. If that means I'm some sort of "mob boss", well, I don't care...
And I'm sure the people I fire will be pleased to learn they have your support...
