You hit the nail on the head. These taxpayer funded government employees have nothing but contempt for taxpayers. It wasn't that long ago one school board was CAUGHT in an open to the public zoom meeting badmouthing parents. All of them got fired.

There was a local news forum in my town. The school district was asking for a huge tax increase and cited 3 reasons why they needed the money. When I pointed out that the State had since funded 2 of the 3 and the district actually shrunk 500 students the teachers claws and fangs came out, told me to move to another state, it got ugly then teachers who were not a moron told the others to shut up. I love it when they openly show their contempt.
