I rarely bother to look at any Super Bowl halftime show.

If the production team thinks they will generate a lot greater public interest in the final game of the NFL post season by signing some Spanish-speaking hit singer, they may be wrong. Or they may be correct. Either way, so what?

I’m more concerned with the quality of the two teams and how the game gets played and how it gets officiated.
