Its only a feminist like "Pete" Hegeth who has the balls to broach this subject. In some lib circles this can be considered controversial.

Most women are happiest in their kitchens giving their man a blow job on request.
Voting is some way above their pay grade and Pete is right to believe that this experiment should stop.

In your case? No, you shouldn't vote. And I certainly don't want to know about what
you do to your man in the kitchen.

Of course they should be allowed to vote as long as they are adults.

You are lowering your voting age to 16. That's creepy and perhaps a reflection of the state trying to legalize creepy behaviour over time. Age and experience should determine who can vote.

Why not just post the tweet and discuss the tweet, rather than Guardian propaganda?

Good one Tommy!

After watching the video, it is clear this is a mischaracterization.

Their belief is that every household should have only one vote.

. . so doesn't that mean divorced and single women would still get to vote?

On top of that, the CNN segment highlighted that Doug Wilson thinks slavery is fine if done morally. :wtf:

I am doubtful that Hegseth feels the same. Just because someone reposts something on X does not necessarily mean it is an endorsement of all that content.

Wilson even explicitly states at the end of the interview that he is not a racist or sexist. . . well?

He thinks America should adopt a Christian theocracy. And he's finding a new audience under Trump

Totally nuts. This guys is our Defense leader? “Hi I am Pete Hegseth, I think those women serving their country in uniform should get married so they can submit to their husbands who will cast the family vote for them.”

lol...two men with opposite yet identical problems, the media...pete talks to the media when common sense dictates otherwise and tommy parrots it for the same reason.

Economics, desperation and poverty will decide where we head.

Moral slavery coming soon.

It's a moot point, because women's right to vote has no snowball's chance in hell of going anywhere. It's protected under the US Constitution, and I see no chance that the states would agree to change the Constitution in such a way.

You dont have a constitution any more.

You dont have a constitution any more.

An Amendment legally becomes part of the Constitution, so there is quite a process involved, as changes to the Constitution aren't taken lightly.

To start the process of passing a new amendment, the proposed amendment must be passed by a 2/3rds majority in BOTH the House and Senate.

After that, the proposed Amendment still isn't part of the Constitution, as the Amendment must be sent to all 50 states for a vote.

Each state has its own process of ratifying the vote, but the key point remains the same - in order to become part of the Constitution, a proposed amendment must receive Yea votes from 38 of the 50 states in order to become a Constitutional Amendment.

This means that 3/4ths of the US states must vote yea in order for the Amendment to become part of the Constitution. If not, it will fail.

There is a second way that an Amendment could be added to the Constitution, and this would involve 2/3rds of the US states calling a Convention to amend the Constitution. Again, this proposed Amendment would still have to be ratified by 75% of the country's State Legislatures.
