Should we have a world police?

Maybe not solely the United States, but perhaps the UN. It could be a multinational military force designed to end human rights abuses around the world. I could see this as a good idea.

The UN has a peacekeeping force.

Admittedly, it’s not at all effective but it exists.

To have a truly effective international police force would require all nations to voluntarily give up a large amount of sovereignty.

I don’t see that going over particularly well, especially in the USA

And wouldn't you need a uniform world criminal code?

Nations are sovereign and can not be forced to pass or follow laws that they do not agree with,

What makes the United Nations a moral organization? Hell, the top politicians at the united nations buy their wive when the are 5 years old

Not a great idea to have dictatorships and tyrants as the world police.

The united nations is 100% a failed idea

I don't consider one form of a police officer to be different compared to another when their purpose isn't all that much different. At the end of the day, all law enforcement officers are all law enforcement officers.

P.S. I will say one thing though, in my opinion, they need to get rid of the uniform because it only makes themselves look obvious. To me, they would only have better success if they were to look more like the rest of us. If they are cleared to drive unmarked police vehicles, to me, they should be cleared to walk around in regular clothing so that those who need to be busted will never know if there is an officer in their presence.
