Should undated mail ballots be counted? (McCormick vs Oz)

Make Election Day Election DAY

Absentee Ballots (except foreign, like mikitary etc...) should have to be dropped off at an official location (like a local court house) by the voter - ID required - before they go on their trip or whatever

Get rid of tbe dominion voting machines. If machines are to be used they should be checked out by outside people not affiliated with the creator of the machines. Have them checked out before AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER the elections.
- Any tampering of machines found should be punishable by mandatory jail time.

Chain of custody should be enforced, punishable by mandatory jail time.
- all documents / ballots should have to be turned in.

Anyone caught committing Election/ voter fraud,tampering with ballots or machines as well, should be stripped of their ability to EVER vote again in ANY election and from working in any capacity, volunteer or paid, in any position on elections.

As long as postmarked by the due date why does it matter?

The issue to me comes up because this is a compromise of sorts and people push for extinuating circumstances and we dovetail into mythical bullshit.

Like how long to wait on mail. Oh this was only 2 days late. Oh this or that.

Whatever the line is, it needs to me a hard line and no more "but but but" excuses.

You know the rules to vote. Make it happen if it matters to you.

I do tend to agree here, unfortunately didn't the court just rule for this to happen in a similar situation.
To me if the ballot is post marked on or delivered before the election date it should count but they need to b consistent with how this is done either way.

The law says they need to be postmarked, so I tend to stick with knowing the rules and working within the rules.

So they shouldn't be counted. I do think the law needs to be changed.

Because elections are extremely important and if a person cannot be bothered with properly filling out a ballot that is designed as a convenience for THEM, their vote isn't important to them either. WE MUST restore trust in this process or the nation is going to come apart at the seams.

This is also an example of why there are rules about keeping the cover envelopes as a verification step. If they still had them, there should be a timestamp that could verify when they came through the system. Failing that, when it's time to count them, those doing the handling don't have a damned clue when the ballot arrived. How could they know?
