Now, wait a minute. Before you answer too quickly, consider the following article from Politico, not from Fox News. First, the House is going Republican this midterm election. There's not really any dispute about that unless you are just so biased you believe in the tooth fairy and Easter bunny or you believe that your 0-10 hometown football team will beat the 10-0 best team in football.
Moving on to the Senate this election, it is close to a 50/50 shot who controls the Senate, with Democrats being a slight favorite, particularly when a 50/50 Senate belongs to the Democrats. BUT, as per Politico, not Fox News, the 2024 Senate election is facing a very brutal reality for Democrats. There is a very high probability that the Senate will turn red in 2024, with the House already being red, and the possibility that we have a red team president (not necessarily Trump). So, taking all of this into consideration, would it be a good idea for the Senate now, or in the near future, to jettison the filibuster?

Senate Dems face brutal 2024 map with at least eight undecided incumbents
Of the 33 Senate seats up for election next term, 23 are held by Democrats. That makes for a tough cycle — and it gets even harder if incumbents choose not to run.
