Should the Mayors of Sanctuary Cities be arrested for violating Federal Immigration Law?

If the Denver Mayor orders his police force to fight Federal law enforcement or military, he should be immediately arrested. There is no legal or Constitutional basis for these retarded "Sanctuary Cities". They should all be denied Federal Funds until they drop their Sanctuary City status and any Mayor or City Official interfering with the capture of illegal immigrants should be arrested and/or removed from office. In this particular case, just to focus in a bit more, that crime is US Code 8, Section 1324, which can even carry the DEATH PENALTY, if someone has died, as a result of the sanctuary shielding.
