If you ask a teacher whether there is political bias in their teachings, OF COURSE s/he will deny it. They may not even be aware of it. If everyone you interact with shares the same bias, that bias becomes invisible to you.

There is no real tool for the general public (who pay for public schools) to see what is going on in the classrooms. If you are a parent, the kids bring stories home but they are usually unreliable, as you learn when you dig deeper.

But what is obvious to every astute observer is that the teachers' unions are dramatically biased to the political Left - witness their disgraceful, counterproductive conduct during COVID - and it is reasonable to assume that a lot of that Leftist bias comes out in the classroom.

Everybody saw the MESS when Covid had kids watching classes at home on their computers. That let the cat out of the bag, and school boards all over the country got lambasted by angry parents.

We should have kept doing it that way. Keep teachers under surveillence by parents.
