When many of their ancestors tried to break from the Union with a Civil War and failed, when the only other resort was to keep any and all rights Blacks, women, etc should have had.....to good jobs, voting, etc away from them......

Why is anyone wondering that some very wealthy Americans and non wealthy as well, are out to keep power in only a few hands, as it has been done in history all the time, and was kept even with those who wrote the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence of the country?
