Of course. You were born here to American parents. You are an American. This only applies to children of non-Americans. It is a bad law I have never agreed with. If I go abroad to any other country and have a kid while there, they are automatically Americans just like me, not citizens of this other country. But if a foreigner comes here and has a kid, we make THEM Americans as well? All the worse if the foreigner is here illegally. Trump must put an end to this.
Consider this: What if Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun were brought here as prisoner Nazis after WWII to face charges and had a kid while here and he was automatically made a US citizen then raised by them to be a Nazi. He would then still be eligible to be president of the United States.
Would you want the Nazi child of Hitler as your next president? Current law makes it theoretically possible.
Technically IMO both Obumma and Harris were both constitutionally ineligible to hold office as president yet both were allowed to run.
Both of these people were existential dangers to our republic, both were avowed Marxists, both intended and were trying to radically and fundamentally change our country.
It amazes me how this country is constantly made a victim of its own laws yet cannot somehow get from under foot of them.
