Political correctness tries to do just that… You know - fixing a wrong with another wrong
Ah, so you find David Duke's tactics a legitimate response to some societal ill.
If David duke was shot tomorrow I could not give two shits…
Being a minority the most racist people I encounter from day to day are progressives. Fact
Well, then since we're being rational, here's the thing. When BLM folks complain that black kids are profiled and stopped by police more often than whites AND that blacks are disproportionality effected by drug sentencing laws, both are true. HOWEVER, in the former case police often have rational reasons for profiling (eg there aren't many blacks in Ferguson) but the government cannot point to any rational reason for the latter or sentencing effects.
But when David Duke, or any white supremacist/nationalist whatever, contends he is individually prejudiced by fair housing or any civil rights law ... he just wants to resegregate, and I don't have even empathy for him. And if Apple, or GE, or some law school thinks they are better off as a whole by having some non-white reprsenation in their work force or student body ... that is simply not irrational. There ARE fundamental problems in affirmative action in education, but those problems are about some white kid being denied an opportunity to favor some non-white kid.
So, if any group acts violently, I'm all for the cops shutting them down, and using all force necessary depending on what arms the lawbreakers bring to the party. But, equating the issues of BLM to the David Dukes, I don't buy it. And I've met BLM folks with who I differ, but they don't go violent quite as quick as the pseudo-klan. They don't really have to. Freddie Gray was not fake news. The white national folks have to create their victims. That's what they want. They want to be seen as sympathetic victims.
