Should Bears coach Eberflus be fired for not calling time out at the end of yesterday's loss?

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Plenty of time on the clock, team wandering around, in field goal range. Is the loss on Caleb Williams or the coach for not calling time out?
Too me, the biggest sin was taking a sack when you are already at the 25 yard line.

The rest was poor clock management that prevented them from getting back in field goal range

Sacks happen, but letting all that time expire without calling a time out is a coaching failure.

They vote Democrat every year. They sent Obama and Dickie Durbin to DC to wreck our country. We should be used to Illinois doing stupid shit by now. Hell, maybe they'll give that coach the key to the city.

Teams need a designated clock manager. Hey, every thing else is specialization.

I agree…but even as a fan, I get pissed
Why don’t you just snap it?

I also get pissed when a runner goes out of bounds rather than keep the clock going, also when someone takes a TD that the defense is conceding to get the ball back

That wasn't the first time Eberflus had choked and frozen in a crucial end-of-game situation. The moment he saw Williams get sacked, he should have instantly realized that his previous plan was unfeasible and that he needed to call a timeout immediately. This was Coaching 101 stuff.

He just does not seem to be able to handle clutch situations. He's a solid coordinator, but he doesn't seem cut out to be a head coach.

He's a decent guy. He handled his firing with class. I hope he lands a good DC position somewhere.
