Ten people injured in 2017 shootings have REFUSED to cooperate with police

TEN people injured in shootings across Merseyside since the start of year have REFUSED to cooperate with police investigations.

One of the region’s top cops today attacked the increasing trend of shooting victims choosing to stay silent when spoken to by detectives.

That reluctance has hampered police probes, Assistant Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said, as she urged people in communities affected by gun crime to talk to officers.
