And Rasmussen was within the margin on Obama's victory in 2008. So a five point lead would give Romney the popular vote victory, margin and all.

Again, Rassmussen has this history of puting out bullshit pro-GOP polls, up until the week before the election, when he kind of gets it right.

I can't say im very shocked here. Did anyone honestly expect the Republican nominee not to give Obama a run for his money no matter who it is? I know there are some in complete denial that Obama is a crappy President, but most people arent.

But as we are still 8 months out, this really doesnt mean anything.

But this poll is bullshit. It's a fluke, as Rasmussen had Obama leading Romney by 10 points a few weeks ago, and it's not like anything has massively changed in that time. It also shows Santorum beating Obama by one point.

For 2 of those 5 years they had a super majority with the presidency absolute power to do anything they wanted. Democrats completely failed to fix anything during their time of free reign ultimate power. They chose to pay all of their political cronies with our money so they will be taken care of after they leave office. Democrats did nothing for the country, they took only for themselves.
