This is a modernism discussion between Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) and Babadook (fictional 'hell-gate creature-intelligence' from a modern-age horror-film).

How can we coordinate modernism-paranoia with sensory-storytelling? After all, isn't modernism much about 'hands-on learning'?

That's a question that will stir the interest of both U.S. President Donald Trump (a 'capitalism-diplomat') and First Lady Melania Trump (a 'democracy-stewardess').

SHIVA: The problem with modernism is labor and intellectual property.
BABADOOK: Yes, Napster, Facebook, eTrade, Microsoft, etc.
SHIVA: The 'leviathan' of the new age then is, of course, terrorism.
BABADOOK: Yes, disrupting network securities disturbs everyday life!
SHIVA: Terrorists may use explosives, vandalism, or Internet-viruses.
BABADOOK: Terrorism involves anarchy, mayhem, and confusion.
SHIVA: We may therefore meditate on 'precision' in the modern age!
BABADOOK: The ghost-stories of the past featured beasts and creatures.
SHIVA: Yes, today's shock-lore usually involves 'superhuman' intelligence.
BABADOOK: That's the appeal of The Terminator and Species.
SHIVA: The Bible suggests the AntiChrist will decapitate all libertines.
BABADOOK: You can remove the head without burning the soul...
SHIVA: I think you're referring to stem-cell research and organ-donors!
BABADOOK: I am; that's completely 'modern.'
SHIVA: What about torture?
BABADOOK: Imagine the murder of a woman returning from an office-day of typing.
SHIVA: Would the Second Coming of Jesus signal a 'return' to sane aviation?
BABADOOK: Perhaps aviation today is simply arthritis!
