the escalating fight over voting rights underscores the difficulty Biden faces in his efforts to advance racial equity. It is an issue that is critical to his legacy but one that faces a myriad of political and legal obstacles. From voting rights to policing reform to helping Black farmers and other critical issues, Biden’s racial justice agenda has suffered a wide array of setbacks and delays during his first year in office.

Despite controlling the White House and Congress, Democrats have yet to pass a pair of federal elections bills that are the centerpiece of the party’s strategy for beating back the sweep of new voting restrictions in Republican-led states.

For the millionth time...voter suppression.
Those taxes Marc...oh those taxes.....and if you are in the wrong school district with those taxes, you are at the mercy of the public school teachers union. The Union needs to be be broken. And it has been for decades and nothing has been done. The taxes keep expanding for city residents. for counties around the cities to pay for the city residents as well as themselves and most other counties in the states to send their hard earned money to the cities that mismanage funds for schools. Then we get to the Federal level. Tell us what to do Marc. It is not like the citizen who pays taxes is not supporting this. Taxed to the gills in many ways for education.

The argument here is that Black Americans are fed up with the Democrats who aren't defending them from the anti-black Republican policies.
Some maybe...but the African Americans I know and do business with are tired of the Dems using them for votes and then giving all the aid to illegal immigrants and all the attention to the LGBTQ community....

That's a Republican talking point.

Are these Black Americans talking about running into the loving arms of the Republican Party?

You didn't give a yes or no answer.

That said, what are these Black Americans you know expecting to get from the Republican Party?
They won't go running into the arms of republicans but if Trump runs again they will run to him...this is one thing I've never understood about you and others....Trump did a good job for the inner city...with empowerment zones increases in dollars to inner city schools...prison reform...and unemployment numbers never seen so low in the black community...people are smart...they know who will give their kids a better shot at a good life....and it ain't Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi....

So put me down as a yes....if you must have yes or no...

Nothing...isn't that refreshing...they want the government out of their way and out of their business and schools...

Like what the state of TexAss is doing? Government out of the way like that?

Either you, or they, are lying.

Most Black Americans don't talk like that.

What happened to all those good things Trump did for the inner city?

It hasn't been a good two years yet, they should still be standing firm.
