I never felt a strong obligation not to mess around on girlfriends, since I always knew they weren't permanent. But I'd never even entertain the idea of cheating on my wife. I am surprised the numbers are so low, I have seen shows on Tv where people have admitted to cheating, and the percentage was a lot higher.

I don't cheat. Period. I couldn't face her if I got caught. It would hurt her too much and I am not willing to do that for a few seconds of fleeting pleasure followed by massive guilt and possibly the loss of 1/2 my assets. That being said, I do not look down on or judge harshly anyone else who might cheat. It is a personal decision. You'll have to deal with the fallout when you get caught.

We'll spend a night out at a fancy hotel and she'll wear a wig and dress in something slinky and I'll "pick her up" at the bar.
